After a huge offensive game yesterday, the Brewers faced a cubs pitcher making his major league debut.
The offense managed to get an early start by plating one in the first, but the Cubs answered back in the bottom of the frame. The Brew Crew got another run in the 3rd, 4th, and 7th. This made it 4-1. The Cubs managed to get another run in the 7th. Into the 9th, the Brewers were leading 4-2. Axford got his 16th save after allowing a run in the 9th but closed it out none the less.
Narveson pitched well, but he was taken out after 5.2 innings due to a high pitch count. He only game up 1 run. The bull pen pitched ok, with Coffey and Axford giving up the two runs.
