This was a close game as the pirates held the Brewers scoreless for the first five innings. The Brewers got their first run in the sixth, then they plated 6 in the 7th.
Narveson pitched well for the game, going 7 innings scattering 7 hits and a walk. He gave up 2 runs, one in the 2nd and 5th. Loe relieved him for the 8th and walked two and got no outs. Braddock came in and finished the 8th and Axford finished the game for the Brewers.
