Game107 18-1 Win vs Cubs

Well the first three innings made this game look like a pitching duel. The last five, however, was pretty much the opposite of a pitching duel with the Brewers scoring in every frame. The Brewers tallied 18 runs off of 26 hits, and three walks and 33 total base runners. Even Trevor Hoffman got an at bat in the 9th. Gomez was at the plate 2 time in the middle of the game and got hit each time. That had only happened twice before in Franchise history and the last Brewer to do this was Fielder in 2006.

Gallardo pitched like an ace, going 6 innings, giving up 1 run off of 3 hits and striking out 12. Hawkings and Hoffman came in to pitch in the no pressure situation and performed well.

MVB:Fielder 5-7 5 RBI 2R or McGehee 5-7 HR 4RBI 3R
LVB: Lucroy, a Ghastly 1-6
