Game 101 3-2 win over Reds

Edmonds got to play the hero today for the Brewers. He broke a 2-2 tie in the 8th with a pinch hit homer.

After a rough second inning where he allowed 2 runs, Wolf pitched a great game. He didn't allow any more runs and went 7 strong innings, showing us the Randy Wolf of last years Dodgers. He also struck out 5 and only walked 1.

On offense, it was a relatively slow day, with only 3 hits for the Brewers. First was Randy Wolf helping his cause in the 3rd. Immediately after Wolf's hit, Rickie Weeks hit his 21 of the year over the fence, tying it at 2. It stayed that way until the 8th, when Edmonds sent one into the Bleachers.

This was the 7th consecutive win at home for the Brew Crew. The Brewers are only 5 games under .500 now

MVB: Wolf
LVB: Everyone besides Wolf, Weeks, and Edmonds 0-∞

On a side note, congradulations to Matt Garza for throwing the 5th no-hitter of the year for the Rays, their first one in their short history. Now it Gallardo's turn.
