Game 98 7-5 win over Nationals

Sorry for the lack of pregame. I got tied up with something.

Anyway, a poor start by the Brewers starting pitcher almost ruined the day for the Brewers, who got down 5-1 by the fourth.

The Brewers scored right away in the first inning off of a Corey Hart triple followed by a sac fly. Narveson doesn't like pitching with the lead it seams so he gave up two home runs to Michael Morse and a RBI single to Zimmerman. The Brewers scored again with two runs in the 5, 6, and 7th. And thus ended the scoring. Brewers held on to win 7-5 and Axford got his 14 save.

MVB: Escobar 3-4, avg is now over .250, not great but improving
LVB: Narveson
