Wow, just when I give up on the team, they pull off a win like this. It wasn't too impressive of a win, unless you compare it to the last two games.
All of the parts came together today. The offense scored just enough to get the win. The pitcher held the pirates scoreless for six innings. Gallardo made a strong return from injury. He didn't allow a run in his innings. His ERA is now just 2.45.
Rickie Weeks had a triple and a HR, powering the Brewers to the win.
