Wow, the Brewers could have used a couple of those runs yesterday. Every starter had a hit except Wolf, who had a sac bunt and sac fly. Two Brewers had three hit games, McGehee and Gomez. The only bad news for the Brewers is that Doug Davis is going back to the DL. This brought up Lorenzo Cain from AAA. In his first career AB, he drilled a pitch to left that with most fielders would have been a double, but a nice play by Diaz made it a long fly out.
MVB: The whole offense ( I mean 9 runs and 16 hits, spread that out and we would be close to .500)
LVB: um... ...the weather?
Storm clouds above the stadium threatened the game early but play went on. Glad I was wrong for this prediction. So far I am 0-2 for my predictions of the Brewers.
